In loving memory ~

Nancy passed away on May 18, 2024, with her three children Wendy, Randy and Dennis by her side. Nancy was born in a small community in southern Ontario and from there joined the Royal Canadian Airforce in 1958. While stationed at Mont Apica as a Medical Assistant, she met her future husband, Everett Lyons. Their first meeting was interesting, however things worked out and they were married in 1960. While stationed in North Bay every April for the next 3 years brought Dennis, Randy and Wendy into the world. Nancy was an avid hobbyist who loved miniatures. Her passions other than family were the royals and Coronation Street, which she enjoyed discussing regularly with her friend Glady Lyall.

Nancy was predeceased by Everett in 2020 and her sister Marlynne and son in law Ken Fowler. She is survived by her children Wendy Fowler (Lyons), Randy Lyons (Tracy), Dennis Lyons (Pauline), grandchildren Sean, Kyle and Kurtis, Danielle, David, Tim, Rebecca, Katie, Matthew and great-grandchildren. Her sisters Particia (Lorne), Kim and brother Darrell and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Nancy and Everett Lyons will be held at Courtenay Civic Cemetery on August 17, 2024, at 2 PM.
