Spiers, Nancy Caroline
May 4, 1905 - April 1, 2005
Nancy passed away peacefully
in the loving presence of family.
She was predeceased by her
husband of 59 years, Carrol, and siblings Willard, Mamie, Gladys, Phillip and Lester, grandson Joseph and son-in-law John. Nancy is survived by her sister Irene Baron, her three children, LeRoy (Joy), Goldie, Ross (June), her eight grandchildren, Janis (Dan), Randy (Lisette), Vicki (Colin), Margo (Joseph), Gordon (Carol), Lorraine (Timothy), Andrea
(Robert), Steven (Christine), sixteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Nancy also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy was born in Shelby County, Iowa. She and her family moved to Saskatchewan when she was 13. After marrying at the age of 22, Nancy and
Carrol moved their family to Campbell River in October of 1939. An active member of the community, Nancy will be fondly remembered by the many organizations in which she was involved.
The family wishes to thank Dr. LeBeuf and the staff of Campbell River General Hospital for their dedication and compassionate care.
There will be a Memorial Service followed by a tea at Living Waters Fellowship (Regent Road and Island Highway, Black Creek) on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 1:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
