Morag Campbell of Courtenay, passed away peacefully at The Views on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the age of 82.
Morag was born in England and immigrated to Canada in 1965 where she began her career as a registered nurse, She met the love of her life, Lindsay while on a skiing holiday and they were married in July of 1976.
Morag and Lindsay relocated to Courtenay when they retired and soon after became involved with the Courtenay Fish & Game Club where they made many friends. Over the years here in the Comox Valley they enjoyed fishing and camping trips, celebrations, parties and happy times with friends and family.
Morag's health failed after Lindsay passed away and her last two years were spent at The Views in Comox where she received the most wonderful care. A very special thank you to her care team at The Views and also to Dr. McLaughlin, Dr. McCallum and to Susan of Nurse Next Door.
As Morag said, "I have lived a good life". Many happy memories were made here and many dear and lasting friendships, She was very much loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A private celebration will be held at a future date. Should friends wish, donations in Morag's memory to the Comox Valley SPCA would be appreciated.
