Mary Ann King

October 31, 2004

King, Mary Ann

Mary passed away peacefully on October 31, 2004, at 98 years of age. Born in Norfolk, England May 1906. Mary outlived all her siblings and her beloved husband Jack, who predeceased her in 1985. Mary is survived by her two daughters, Norma Clayton of Coquitlam and Audrey Haughn (Tom) of Comox, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren whom she adored. Mom spent seven happy years in Stevenson Place — thank you to the great staff! Her last three weeks were in ECU which she thoroughly enjoyed. Mom will be greatly missed; she always made the best of everything. She was a wonderful gardener, loved knitting and crocheting and many crafts and generally talking to people and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Stevenson Place on November 13th from 2-4 o’clock. Flowers are gratefully declined; donations to a charity of your choice.

Loving and kind

in all her ways,

Upright and just to the end

of her days

Sincere and true,

in her heart and mind,

Beautiful memories

she left behind.
