Our beloved and beautiful Marilyn Kathleen (Wagner) Freeborn known as Kath. Born on May 24 1966 at the Comox St. Joseph's Hospital passed away tragically on July 1st 2024 at the age of 58. Our hearts are beyond broken and full of the deepest of sorrows. Kathy was one of the most beautiful people in every single way. She lived her life to the fullest each and every day. Her smile lit up every place she went. Her beauty radiated as bright as the sun and stars. Her skill to adapt to any task was untouchable. Her heart was full of love, warmth, and selflessness. Kathy was known for her ability to touch everyone's life she encountered, in a deep and positive way. We are all so blessed to have had the moments and memories to share with such a beautiful soul. She will be dearly missed forever and always.

Kathy's employment covered many positions, to note a few; She spent 20 years with BC Ferries and then moved on to her own tack shop business as well as owned and operated the entirety of Comox Valley Bobcat and Excavating.

She is survived by her husband Poe Freeborn, her mother Sylvia Wagner, and her stepfather Jim Ekdahl, and her sister Leona Wagner, Logan Bell, her family and friends, and in the memories of her predeceased father Keith Gordon Wagner.

Her beautiful soul will be forever in our hearts. Kathy's celebration of life will be held on July 27th 2024 at 1:30pm at 1936 Quenville rd Courtenay BC.
