In Loving Memory ~

Marie was born December 14, 1928, and passed August 6, 2024. She was born in camp 3/Headquarters and at the age of 12 moved to Merville, where she lived for the rest of her life.

Marie is predeceased by her husband Ernest and son Barry, two sisters (Irene, Leona), brother Frank and parents Mary and Martin Davison.

She leaves behind daughter Faye (Alan), son Dan, granddaughter Annette (Brad), great grandson Lou, grandson Joe (Leesa), great grandson Alexander, grandson Lee (Shannon), great grandson Sam.

Marie loved to travel she visited many countries, Hawaii being her favorite, also Europe, Asia, Mexico, Caribbean, and USA. She loved to bake and cook, her house always smelled of fresh baked cookies. She was the queen of baking.

She passed away peacefully in Comox Valley Hospital, August 6, 2024. Special thanks to the staff at the hospital and community care services, the care that she received was above and beyond, a very caring group of people.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Black Creek Community Hall, September 14, 2024 from 1-3 pm
