April 4, 1934 - June 23, 2024

Mae was born in Digby N.S. April 4, 1934. Passed away in Comox Valley General Hospital June 23, 2024.

Mae and her husband Gerry met in 1953 at her brother's wedding. She, as a bridesmaid, Gerry as the best man. They were married in the same church 1 year later on July 20, 1954.

Relocated from Saanich to Courtenay in 1991 to be closer to their favourite camping and fishing area in lakes west of Campbell River.

Mae enjoyed travelling across Canada, including a 2 year Navy posting for Gerry in Digby. Mae loved to fish, both fresh and salt water!

Mae is survived by her loving husband Gerry, daughter Colleen and brother David along with 2 grandchildren, Carrie and Michael, and 2 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Dylan.

I love you Mae.
