Tortorelli, Louis John

It is with deepest sadness and regret that we announce the passing of our precious husband, grandfather, father, brother and friend, Louis John Tortorelli, on May 22nd, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Louis was a long-time resident of the Comox Valley who worked in the forests on Vancouver Island for many years. He was active in sports and was a visible presence at the sporting events and dance performances of his children.

He leaves behind to mourn his passing his mother Florence; his beloved wife Pauline; daughters: Louise, Patricia (Tom) Wilson, Lisalyn Adamson, Alana (Mike) Collins; son Aaron (Sheri); grandchildren: Garrett, Jakob, Estella, Avory, Amber-Dawn, Tom, Arthur, and Louis; great-grandson Marcellis; sisters: Eva Patten, Sharon (Tom), Del (Joe); and brother George (Anne).

Lou was predeceased by his father John, and two brothers: John and Leonard.

The family greatfully declines flowers. Donations in Lou’s memory can be made to St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation or the Comox Valley Recovery Center.
