Osmond - Lorna Florence, aged 85 of Comox, passed away suddenly at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Friday, August 29th, 2003. Predeceased by her sisters Phyllis Coe and Peggy Parra, she is survived and will be lovingly missed by sons Ken (Lil) of Comox and Greg (Margaret) of Calgary; grandchildren Rhonda (Kelly) of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Ron (Theresa) of Union Bay, Rhonica (Kevin) of Courtenay, Allison (Jason) of Ottawa, Jennifer of Calgary and Gregory David, also of Calgary; great-grandchildren Tyson, Taylor, Troy, Tia and Andrew; her sister Rita (Norm) of Moose Jaw and many nieces and nephews. Lorna had been a member of the Ladies’ Railway Lodge since 1944 and since her move to Comox, had been active with the d’Esterre Seniors. In her leisure, she loved knitting.
A Service of Remembrance will take place on Thursday, September 4th at 1:00 p.m. from COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 RYAN ROAD, followed by fellowship and refreshments in “The Garden Room and Outdoor Patio” of the funeral home.
