Jackson, Leslie Charles
It is with deep sorrow that I announce the death of my husband Leslie Charles Jackson. Born in Ottawa, Ontario on February 2, 1933, leaving us on November 30, 2003.
Previously of Comox, B.C. more recently of Chilliwack, B.C. Les leaves behind his wife Geraldine, children: Brenda (Dale), Christine (Kevin), Leslie (Luella), and Jeffrey (Amanda). He will be greatly missed by his 13 grandchildren whom he loved spending time with when he was able.
Les was a career soldier—joining The Canadian Armed Forces in 1951, spending two years on active duty in Korea. Then serving at many bases throughout Canada until his illness caused an end to his service. Les was a Member of the Korean Veteran’s Association and also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
A special thanks to the staff at Heritage Village, who with their kind concern and caring made his remaining years comfortable and enjoyable.
