In Loving Memory ~

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Laurence Ross Radford on December 29, 2023.

Ross is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Sylvia, Daughters, Alanna (Chris) and Vicki (Cory), as well as his grandchildren, who were the world to him Braedy, Rylan and Kennady. Along with other extended family.

Predeceased by his father Bert Radford, Mother Beatrice (Trot) Radford and brother John Radford.

Retiring at the age of 49, Ross and Sylvia moved to Fanny Bay where they resided for 31 years, and Ross was able to commit to all his passions in life. He was an avid curler and officiator, loved to ski, enjoyed gardening, camping, travelling and would eagerly jump at the opportunity to go fishing.

Those that knew him well were aware that "The first fish on the line on his boat was his to reel in"

You could always count on Ross to be a part of the annual Eagan Lake Fishing Trip with the boys. He was an active member of Kinsmen, Comox Valley Curling Club, Comox Valley RV Club, Fanny Bay O.A.P., Santas Workshop and Rosewell Creek Fish Hatchery where he put in many hours of volunteer work.

A very special Thank-you to all Staff who loved and cared for Ross at Glacier View Lodge. Ross's witful smile, strong personality and friendly demeanor will be dearly missed by family and friends.

A celebration of Life for Ross will be announced at a later date.
