In loving memory ~
It is with deep sadness that the family of Larry Gordon Bull announce his unexpected passing in Courtenay, B.C. on Monday, Sept. 30, 2024 at the age of 66 years.
Larry is survived by his sister Kathy and his brother-in-law Darrin Fredrickson of Fanny Bay, B.C., and his two nieces. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Beverley (nee Pumphrey) and Gordon Bull.
Larry grew up in New Westminster and Burnaby, B.C.. He always enjoyed sports and was a talented baseball player, going on to play College baseball in Palm Springs. As a young adult he enjoyed skiing and golf. Larry moved to the Yukon in the late 1990s. He was a loyal and hardworking employee, first at Dairyland in B.C. and later at Yukon College in Whitehorse.
Larry retired to the Comox Valley in 2009. He enjoyed the warmer climate and the opportunity to spend more time golfing. He also became an avid gardener. Larry was often commended for his honesty and integrity. He had the most amazing memory, and an excellent sense of humour.
Larry was not one for 'pomp and ceremony', so there will be no service. In remembrance, donations may be made to the B.C. Children's Hospital, your local food bank, or you may plant something in your own garden to honour him (he would have liked that).
