In loving memory ~

Howard, Julia Clare of Comox, passed away at North Island Hospital Courtenay on Thursday November 16th, 2023. She is survived and will be dearly missed by Michael and Chris; daughters Patricia and Penelope; sister Margaret (Barry) Herod and many nieces and nephews. Julia was predeceased by her loving husband Bill, infant son Anthony, sisters Patricia and Noreen, and her parents George and Nora Stack. She was a well-known member of the Comox Valley War Brides Association, spent many years as a cashier at Woodwards and in her leisure, enjoyed knitting, gardening, artwork, particularly painting. Her family knew her affectionally as 'Sheila'. She will be laid to rest with her husband Bill with a private family graveside service at Courtenay Civic Cemetery in the New Year.
