It is with sadness that we announce that Judy passed away at the Comox Valley Hospital after a long period of failing health. She was predeceased by her husband, Terry, and her parents Joan and Fred Sutcliffe. She is survived by her brother Mike, her children Brent and Suzanne, and their families.

After moving to the Comox Valley to be nearer to family, Judy worked as a flower arranger, a cruise consultant and at Costco. When her mother, Joan, required more assistance as she aged, Judy took on the job of companion and caregiver. With Judy as an escort, mom and daughter spent many a happy time aboard cruise ships.

Judy was known as the "Queen of Bling" and loved any sparkly item - whether made by herself or purchased. She loved to go shopping with friends and some sort of glitter would usually accompany her home. Judy was a generous friend and will be remembered for her sense of humour and her kindness.

A remembrance for Judy will be held on Saturday, September 9th from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at 644 Hornet Drive in Comox.
