In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother, Joyce Wheeler of Courtenay, B.C. who passed away suddenly on March 30, 2023.
She is survived by her children Janelle and Karen (Miguel); her grandchildren Caitlyn (Hazel), Stephanie, Michaela and Jonathan; her great-grandchildren Sam, Keegan, Sawyer, Simon, and Melodie; her brother Jim (Linda); and her sister Carol.
Joyce was predeceased by her father (John), mother (Frances), sister (Sheila) and brother (Sheldon).
A celebration of Joyce's life will be held on Thursday, April 6th at 11:30 a.m. at Comox Valley Funeral Home, 1101 Ryan Road, Courtenay, B.C.
In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to honor Joyce and her lifelong love of learning is asked to make a charitable gift to the North Island College Foundation in support of the Joyce Wheeler Scholarship fund.
