Fleming, Joyce Evangeline
born March 31, 1934 in Picton, Ontario passed away suddenly on February 26, 2002
Joyce was predeceased by her parents Nicholas & Janet Bosko, and her beloved husband Sid Fleming.
She has left behind 3 daughters: Sharon (Steve) Pearce, Adda (Leif) Vallevand, and Nicole (Bruce) Atchison; and only brother Floyd (Mary-Ellen) Bosko; as well as 5 grandchildren: Hannah, Lucas, Laurence, Steve, and Dan; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and in-laws.
Joyce was a long time member of the Comox Community Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by her large church family.
Never a sweeter mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, sister-in-law and friend, will there be.
To show her thoughtfulness of others she has chosen a personal message for all who mourn her loss.
Farewell Mom!
When I come to the end of the road,
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little but not too long,
And not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love we once shared
Miss me, but let me go.
For this is a journey
we all must make,
And each must go alone,
It’s all a part of the master plan,
A step in the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart,
Go to the friends you know,
And bury your sorrow
in doing good deeds.
Miss me, but let me go.
Memorial Service to be held Saturday, March 2, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the Comox Community Baptist Church, 1250 Anderton Road, Comox, BC V9M 3Z2.
