Riviere Joseph A.

1910 - 2004

Passed away peacefully at Campbell River Hospital on February 2nd, 2004. He was predeceased by his first wife Ora in August 1976.

Survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Ann Riviere, son Donald Riviere (Jan), daughter Joan McInnis (Angus), Sypher Pederson (Sharon), Drew Pederson (Leslie), JoAnn Palmer (Larry), Leah Gibson (Ally), many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Joe was born in Quyon, Quebec on September 19, 1910. After a long career in mining throughout Ontario and Quebec. He retired to Campbell River in 1976. He enjoyed socializing with his many friends and spending time with his family.

Visits from his grandchildren were always so special and Joe鈥檚 love for them was so apparent.

Joe spent many pleasurable hours fishing with his good buddy Bernie.

There will be no funeral service at his request. For those wishing, donation in Joe鈥檚 name may be made to the Bc Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers.
