Regan, John

John passed away the evening of July 9th, 2005. He was predeceased by his parents James and Margaret Regan, his brother Shamus and his sisters Mary, Constance and Margaret. John is survived by many nieces and nephews and his wife and friend Freda. John was born in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan. Growing up John played the cello in local bands along with his siblings. He was also part of the C.P.R. Show circuit and showed livestock at the Royal in Toronto. John was in the R.C.A.F. during the war and later went into real estate as well as raising Arabian horses. After his posting to Comox he remained to live here in the Valley. Special thanks to Dr. Silcox and Dr. Scrutin and the excellent care of the nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital. We are forever grateful to the wonderful staff of Home Support and People at Home who brightened his days. COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD entrusted with arrangements. There will be a Service of Remembrance at Faith Lutheran Church, 17th and McPhee in Courtenay on Saturday, July 16th, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. with the Reverend Timothy Rumsch officiating.
