Hodgson - Jean Dorothy, aged 86 years, passed away peacefully in Oliver, B.C. on May 1st, 2002. She is survived by her sister Ethel Thoman of Edmonton, AB, and her immediate family: Robert (Marie), Doreen (Mike) Hughes, Dianne (John) Birnie; as well as her six grand- children: Gillian, Bryn, Andrew, Shona, Mark and Kendra; as well as four great-grand- children: Sarah, Michael, Alex and Kayla. Jean was predeceased by her husband Donald in January 2001, her parents James and Kate Dunlop and her brother Lloyd.
Cremation will precede a Committal Service, which will be held at the Oliver Cemetery on Saturday, June 1st at 11:30 a.m.
Jean and Don moved from Calgary in 1974 and enjoyed their retirement years at Union Bay and Courtenay. Jean was a long time member of the Courtenay Evergreen Club and the Brazilian Embroidery Group.
