In Loving Memory ~

Janice Winnifred Adie, beloved daughter, aunt, cousin, niece and friend lost her courageous battle with cancer on Oct 3, 2024.

Jan lived her life by the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Her honesty, kindness and ability to see the goodness in others touched all of us, and anyone who knew Jan knew she could be trusted.

After retiring to the Comox Valley, Jan was involved with the CV Newcomers' Club and the special bond she formed with her group of friends (Jan's Amigos) highlights the importance of community and support, especially during challenging times. Jan was surrounded by friends and family who truly cared for her and knew that family isn't always blood, it's the people you want in your life.

Jan's legacy of kindness, strength, and dedication to family and friends will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Jan is survived by her mother, Helen (Redden) Adie, and predeceased by her father, James (Jim) Adie.

She will be fondly remembered by her siblings Jocelyn Newton, Peter (Lila), Carol Gibson, Mike, and Robby, and her niece Lia Newton (Steve Graham), nephews James Newton, Brett Gibson (Jenn) and Ryan Gibson.

It was her wish any donations made in her memory go to BC Cancer or Lymphoma Canada.
