James Robert, born in Port Alberni on May 24, 1936, passed away on February 3, 2024, after a courageous battle with asbestosis. He is survived by his devoted wife Mellva, brother Ken (Kerrie) niece Deidree & nephew Morgan, 3 stepchildren, Kathy (Steve), Denise, Jon (Sarah), 4 step-grandchildren, Caylee, Megan, Dakota and Christopher. Per his wishes, there will be no service or flowers. Jim lived by the philosophy that if you couldn't visit him while he was alive, he didn't want you there when he was gone.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew, loved and appreciated him.
