McLaughlin, James Clark
James passed away on November 16th, 2003 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox after a heart attack. He will be dearly missed by Moira, his wife of 54 years, daughters: Moira of Victoria and Kathleen of Merville, sons-in-law: Adrian Haut and Ken Grieve, grandchildren: Shannon Acorn and Tyler Haut, and many relatives in Scotland.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Jim served in the R.A.F., before joining the R.C.A.F. and coming to Canada. After retiring from the military he worked for School District #71. Jim and his wonderful sense of humor will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
According to his wishes, private cremation arrangements have been entrusted to PIERCY’S FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM. Flowers are gratefully declined, should friends wish donations in his memory to B.C. Parkinson’s Disease Association, #600 - 890 W. Pender St., Vancouver, B.C. V6C 1K4 would be appreciated.
