Jackie was born September 3, 1926 in Vancouver and died recently in Ocean Front Village. Many thanks to the staff and Dr. Dan for taking such good care of her. Her husband, John owned J.C. Holmes Crane Rentals and Mom did the scheduling and books for the company. In the 80s Mom and Dad became Snowbirds vacationing in the Palm Springs area for 20 plus years where Mom was an aerobics teacher and a busy volunteer at the Club House. Mom spent her life looking after family and friends. The house was always full of people and laughter. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed entertaining. In her later years she volunteered at Santa's workshop and was heavily involved with the gardens at their patio home complex. Mom and Dad met when very young and Mom was lost when Dad died in 2011. She moved into her Comox apartment where she grew and cared for her flowers. She is survived by her daughter Glenda and her husband Dave Mosher of Royston. And by her extended family David Forman, Brett and wife Leah, daughters Scarlett and Alice in Calgary, and Taryn Friesen and husband Josiah in Courtenay. Mom's ashes will be spread at Gartley Point.
