Matwyko - Jack Kenneth
Was born June 24, 1942 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan and passed away September 16, 2003, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Raised in Roblin, Manitoba, Jack farmed and trucked for twenty five years until moving to Courtenay in 1984. Predeceased by his mother Helen. Survived by Judy, his loving wife of forty-one-years, sons Randy (Lisa), Jeff, and daughter Lisa (Greg), father John, sister Doris Albanese, seven grandchildren: Jeremy, Jamie, Jordan, Stephanie, Brittaney, Montana and Shantell. Jack is also survived by: Cindy, Tamara, Brandi, and many other caring family members and friends.
No service by request. In lieu of flowers, it is Jack’s wish that any donations go to the Comox Valley SPCA or YANA of Courtenay. Special thanks to Dr. Green, Dr. Tien, Dr. Engman, and Dr. Chartrand, and all the staff at Victoria Cancer Clinic, and to Marianne and Mel, Mike and Lu Osachuk and Lori Baker.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to PIERCY’S FUNERAL HOME, 440 England Avenue, Courtenay.
