Hohm , Herbert August

Herbert was born in Melville, Saskatchewan and came to B.C. at the age of 5. He began working on the tug boats at the age of 14, starting in 1942 to 1966 where he remained for many years. He was also a certified skipper on several tugs. He had several jobs after that but never lost his love for the oceans. He was a highway foreman in Stewart, B.C. for many years.

Predeceased by first wife 鈥淭ricia鈥�, daughters Marg, Melody and his dear friend, his cat 鈥淩ambo鈥�.

He will be sadly missed by wife Edith and his children, Patti (Brian), Cary (Harry), Herb (Gaylene), Mary, Tracey (Vinny), 8 stepchildren, Deda (Brian), Philip (Valerie), Lynda (Barry), Joseph, John (Ardy), Wade (Suzanne), Patrick, Dwight (Teresa), 30 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, and 2 sisters.
