Henry Seymour Snow

Snow - Henry Seymour “Hank” of Comox, B.C, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Monday, January 14, 2002 at age 60. Predeceased by his brother Joe, he is survived by and will be lovingly missed by his wife of 39 years, Huguette; son Michael Snow (Amy) of Boise, Idaho; daughter Suzanne Casanova (Luciano) of Comox; grandchildren Giacomo and Natalia; sister Dorothy Snow and brother Dave Snow, both of Halifax; sister Nancy Russell of Lower Sackville; sister-in-law Shirley Snow of Halifax, along with their families and his nieces and nephews. Hank will be greatly missed as well by his dog and loving companion, “Ebony.” . He spent 24 years with the Canadian Air Force, retiring in 1981 from CFB Cold Lake, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He and Huguette moved to the Comox Valley 1-1/2 years ago. Hank was an excellent father, who dedicated time to his children’s hobbies and interests. He was always there for his family and left them a legacy of their family tree on which he spent thousands of hours researching and developing as part of his passion for genealogy. Hank also built his family’s home in the 1970s. A Service of Remembrance in Celebration of his life will be held from the chapel of COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 RYAN ROAD, Courtenay, B.C. on Friday, January 18th at 3:30 p.m. Should friends desire, donations in Hank’s memory to the Heart and Lung Association, P.O. Box 34009, Station D, Vancouver, B.C. V9J 9Z9 would be appreciated.
