REBER, Hella

(nee: Muszynski)

Hella passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital the morning of December 31, 2004. Born August 21, 1929, in Ham-burg, Germany, Hella came to Canada in 1968. She and her husband Karl lived in Port Alberni for many years and briefly in California before making the Comox Valley their home in 1980. When not travelling, Hella enjoyed volunteer work, and was active in the annual Santa Claus Toy shop for many years.

Hella was predeceased by her husband Karl in 1993. She will be missed by her children: Kathy (Dan) Evans, Mark, Sandy (Don); grandchildren: Talison, Cadence, Mackinnon, and Griffin; her sister Emmi and family (Berndt and Angela); relatives still living in Germany; and her many friends. The family wishes to thank her friends, the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Dr. Konway and others for their help and support throughout the years.

Friends are invited to an open house in Hella’s memory on Saturday January 8, at her home between 11:00am and 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, Hella would have wished people to make a donation to a charity of their choice.
