Harold spent his entire life working hard and demonstrated these ethics here in the valley and in Alberta. After graduation at GP Vanier, Harold worked at local dairy farms, did an apprenticeship with Jensen Construction, and then he worked for a couple years at Fields Sawmill. Harold then went to Alberta and worked on a large beef ranch for three years, a year on the oil rigs and then returned to the valley to work at Fields Sawmill until the mill’s closing. Harold also worked a few part-time jobs throughout his life in the Comox Valley.
Harold loved to listen to music and would often play his music loud while he worked out on his own farm in the Dove Creek area.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC, Yukon Canadian Cancer Society, #600 West 10th St., Vancouver, BC.
No service by request; a Celebration of Life will take place early April at his home.
