In loving memory ~

It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Gordon Wadsworth (Scouter Gord) following complications, in RJH hospital in Victoria.

Gord was a loving husband and best friend of Valerie for 57 years, and Dad to sons; Craig, Ryan (Karen), and Steven (Ashley).

He was a beloved Grandpa to Michael (Breanna) and great grand daughter Brooke; and grandchildren Kaylin, Jacob, Lucas, Ethan, Halle, William, Gaven, and Jack. Pre-deceased by his parents, Dorothy and Harry, sisters June and Bev and brother John.

Gord loved his fishing and many years of camping with the family.

Scouter Gord and Val spent over 30 years volunteering with Scouts Canada, and had much enjoyment and fun while sharing their knowledge and experience with scouting youth, leaders and participating in providing training for Adult Scouting courses.

He so enjoyed his last two fishing trips last year, one with son, Ryan, and the other with grandson, Michael. Gord was visited by all of his family, sons and wives and grandchildren the previous day. He will be remembered for his enjoyment for life despite his illness, his smile, kindness, sense of humor and his telling stories around a campfire.

Special thanks to Dr. Bakshi and Dr. Booth and the Kidney Care Clinic staff that kept Gordie with us for so many more precious years.

There will be a celebration at a later time.
