Missen, Gladys Irene
Passed away at Glacier View Lodge on June 18, 2004. Born August 27, 1927 at Wetaskiwin, Alberta. She was predeceased by her husband Warren in 1979. She is survived by her daughters: Beverly Brown (Gordon) and Karen Dingwall (Ross); sisters: Evelyn DeHarnais (Ron), Joy Solvenson; brother Stanley Crooks (Pat); grandchildren: David Brown and Denise Robinson (Shane); great granddaughter Taylor Robinson. She was a long time member of the Courtenay United Church, and a volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society for many years. A remembrance service will be held at Piercy鈥檚 - Mt. Washington Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 23 at 1:00 PM with Reverend Ray Brandon officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
