Martin - Genevieve Annie Edna, aged 92 of Courtenay, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph鈥檚 Hospital on Sunday, August 4th, 2002. Predeceased by her husband Eddie, she is survived and will be dearly missed by her daughter Dolores (Donald) Steele of West Vancouver; son Ted (Joan) Martin of Bragg Creek, Alberta and daughter Genevieve Hetenyi of Courtenay; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters Betty (Jack) Hewison of Victoria and Jean Rae of North Vancouver, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Following cremation, a family memorial service will be held from St. Martin鈥檚 Anglican Church, North Vancouver where Genevieve was a long-time member.
