Miskenack, Frank William
of Comox, passed away peace-fully with his family at his side on Thursday, December 30th, 2004. Frank is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving wife Bernie; loving children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother, sister, nieces and nephews. He was proud to have commercially fished for over 40 years. During the late 1960’s, Frank halibut fished the Bering Sea and continued to fish the B.C. coast until his retirement in the Comox Valley. In his leisure, he was an active member of the Comox Valley Horseshoe Pitching Club and enjoyed practising his skill at woodworking. As was Frank’s request, a Service of Remembrance in celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 7th at 11:00am from COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD, followed by fellowship and refreshments in “The Garden Room” of the funeral home.
