June 29, 1919 - January 27, 2006

Frank Leverton passed away peacefully on January 27, 2006 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox surrounded by his family. Frank was born in Expanse, Saskatchewan and came to B.C. in 1937. After serving with the Canadian Forces in WWII he worked for 21 years at Ocean Falls and a further 6 years at Kitimat in the pulp and paper industry before retiring to Courtenay in 1978. Frank was predeceased by his brothers Lester, Russel and Allan. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Kathleen, his sister Mona of Nanaimo, sons Ralph (Patti) of Surrey and David of Vancouver, 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Arrangements entrusted to COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, COURTENAY. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, #102 - 1509 Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay, B.C. V9N 2K6.
