Eva May Woodrow of Courtenay, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, February 4, 1931 passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Wednesday, April 9, 2003 aged 72.

Predeceased by her parents Norman Ernest and Florence Augusta Mackie; Eva is survived by her loving husband John and her daughters Judy of Edmonton and Terry of Calgary and her grandchildren Naomi, Lynette, Tamara, Shylo, Jamie and Joey. Also survived by her sisters Jean Charlton of Halifax, Doris (Gordon) Dean of Cranston, Rhode Island, Helen (Ronald) Hartlen of Dartsmouth, Nova Scotia, Joan Barber of Scarborough, Ontario and Carol Curran of Halifax, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

Eva and John retired to the Comox Valley from Fredericton, New Brunswick in 1977. She was a member of the Anglican Church Mothers Union at the Church of St. John The Divine.

A special thank you to Dr. John Law and the nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital and the Comox Valley Hospice Society and to her sister and brother-in-law; Audrey and Harold Milton.

Funeral Service took place at the Church of St. John The Divine on Monday, April 14th at 11:30 AM with Father John Lancaster officiating. Arrangements entrusted to COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 1101 Ryan Road.
