Ernie Jessop passed away

peacefully at St. Joseph’s

Hospital in Comox, B.C. on

March 25th, 2005, aged 75 years. He was predeceased by his parents and 2 younger brothers. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his wife Brenda, his sons David (Karin) Jones of Germany and Chris Jones of Kelowna, B.C., his daughters Margaret (Keith) Mudge of Cumberland and Janet (Jim) Parsons of Woss, B.C., 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, his sister Doreen Gibson of England, his nephew David (Mandy) Gibson of England, his niece Heather (David) Connelly of England and his great niece Diane (Nick) Stirton of England. Ernie was a member of Cumberland Branch #28 Royal Canadian Legion. In his leisure time Ernie loved to work on cars and motorcycles and was an all around handyman. Ernie was very outgoing with a great sense of humour and liked to laugh and be with others. Ernie had a daughter, Brenda Jessop and a son, Warren Jessop and 2 grandchildren with whom he lost contact. A Celebration of Ernie’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Cumberland Branch #28, 2770 Dunsmuir on Saturday, April 2nd, 2005 from 1p.m. to 3 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to COMOX VALLEY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM, 1101 RYAN ROAD, COURTENAY. Donations in Ernie’s memory made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of B.C. & Yukon, P.O. Box 1225, Comox, B.C. V9N 7Z8 or the Canadian Cancer Society,#102 - 1509 Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay, B.C. V9N 2K6 with appreciation.
