Peacefully in Ottawa on 14 December 2005 at the age of 95. Predeceased by her husband Shirley (Mac) McLean, her son Barry and her grandson Stephen. Dear mother of Sheila Chappell and loved mother-in-law of Wendy McLean and Marc Chappell. Wonderful grandmother of Cathy, Lexa and Joanne; and great-grandmother of Chris, James, Kendra, Jonnie and Sebastien. 鈥淕ram鈥� to us all.

She will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held in North Vancouver early in the New Year. In lieu of flowers, donations to the CNIB would be appreciated.
