1923 ~ 2004


It is in loving memory that we announce the passing of Edward Walker (Ted) Bacon. Ted was predeceased by his first wife Sheila. He is survived by his loving wife Norma and his daughter Susan and grandsons Glen, Scott, Peter and James of Brisbane, Australia, stepsons: Barry, Kim and Tim from BC. Ted was born in Manchester, England and served in the R.A.F. during W.W.II. He was trained as a hotel manager and spent his work career in England, Scotland and South Africa. Ted was an active member with St. Peter’s Anglican Church, as well as the 888 Wing in Comox. His charitable character was enjoyed by many throughout the community.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 12th, 2004 at St. Peter’s Anglican Church with The Reverend Fr. Jim Lyster officiating. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Comox Valley Hospice Society. Service arrangements have been entrusted to PIERCY’S - MT. WASHINGTON FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORIUM.
