MITTON, Edmund Sanford

Ed Mitton passed away peacefully on May 31st, 2005 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox, British Columbia. He was predeceased by his parents Myrtle and Sanford Mitton and his brothers Cedric and Bill Mitton. Ed is survived by his wife Marianne Mitton, his son Derek Mitton of Courtenay, B.C., his daughter Melody Goodison of Courtenay, B.C., his grandchild Kyle Goodison of Courtenay, B.C., as well as his brothers Reg Mitton of Nanaimo, B.C. and Carl (Shirley) Mitton of Lethbridge, AB., his sisters Carolyn (Robert) Richards and Alberta Jean (Mitton), several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. He was a heavy duty mechanic/handyman and was a man of many talents. Ed liked to play guitar, visit with friends and had a gift for making people laugh. In his leisure time he enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and traveling. He was one of a kind and will be missed by his family and friends. A Celebration of Ed’s Life will take place at the Lacourse home, 3266 - 7th Street, #19 trailer in Cumberland on Sunday, June 12th, 2005 at 1:00 P.M.
