Durward 鈥淏utch鈥� MARTIN

March 30, 1929-April 12, 2004

Butch passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his family and special friends following a brief battle with cancer at the age of 75. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his loving wife, June, of 53 years, son Ken (Kim) Martin, daughters Judy (Sid) Scott, Tammy (Sid) Cross, Belinda (James) Matsuda. Grandchildren, Shawna (Hugh) Smythe, Sidney Scott, Chad (Kathleen) Martin, Chris (Jaclyn) Martin, Kleanna (Jamie) Flemming, Dawn Cross, Colby, Tyler, Casey and Maggie Matsuda. Great-grandchildren Austin, Dakota, Colter, Ricky, Breanne and Hayden. Also survived by his mother Leona, sister Shirley and many wonderful friends.

He was predeceased by his father Tom, brother Ron and granddaughter Rebecca.

After his retirement from Lacey Garbage Disposal in 1996, he enjoyed tinkering, travelling, fishing and most of all the many special times spent with his wife and family.

As a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, he will be sadly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. at Piercy鈥檚 Funeral Home.
