It is with heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather.
He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family.
Douglas is survived by his loving wife Barbara of 50 years (shy 1 month) and four children Angela, Earl (Sherry), Winnie (Marshal) and Tim (Robyn). He was also blessed to be part of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren lives.
Douglas worked at Westmin mine for his working career as well as volunteering at the Courtney Volunteer fire department for many of those years.
He will be dearly missed and held close to our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held on January 27, 2024 at the Upper Elks Hall at 11 AM.
