Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph鈥檚 Hospital Saturday, July 24, 2004. Predeceased by his mother Hilda, father James and brother Jim. Shorty is survived by and will be lovingly missed by his brother Bob (Noreen), along with 5 nieces and nephews, 7 grand nieces and nephews, and 5 great-grandnieces and nephews. Shorty was born in Edmonton, Alberta on Jan 21, 1932. He worked as a gardener for the Provincial government for 38 years retiring at the age of 55. In 1988 he moved to Union Bay, working along side of his brother Bob for another 10 years at the Union Bay Improvement District.
