Murray, Donald Kenneth
1947 - 2005
Aged 58, of Courtenay, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Friday, June 24th, 2005. As a child, he lived in San Bernadino, California, and after moving to B.C., graduated from B.C.I.T. with a degree in Forestry Engineering. He worked for a number of years for Crown Zellerbach in Courtenay, Bella Coola and the Queen Charlottes. He retired to Penticton, then moved to Courtenay in 2003. Donald is survived by his wife Mona Dawn Murray; mother Ruth and sister Laurel Cartwright, both of Victoria; daughter Dawn and husband Michael and grandson David of Nanaimo; daughter Tammy and husband Edward Marland of Langley; sister-in-law Jeanette and Roy Brekke of Courtenay; nieces Aprile and husband Richard Riedl of Black Creek and Candace (Scott) McLellan of Royston; nephew Trevor Brekke of New Westminster; grandchildren April Dawn Ewasiuk and Patrick Halverson, both of Williams Lake; great nephews Andrew and Justice Marinus and Joshua McLellan; and great niece Carleena Brekke.
