Emslie, Debbie
Our beautiful angel, Debbie Emslie, passed away in her sleep laying beside the man she loved, admired and wanted for her husband, Jim Parlby, January 28, 2006. They were recently engaged during Christmas of 2005, this was Debbie’s wish and she was so happy to accept Jim’s proposal. She enjoyed it even more to have shared it with her older sister who has been more than a sister to Debbie, Brenda Emslie. Brenda took Debbie in her wings at a young age as Debbie was the youngest of 7 children born to Cliff Emslie, and her mother that deceased years ago, Ruby Emslie. Debbie was born November 29, 1963. At the young age of 43 after a long fight for life with kidney problems and other health issues that Debbie endured through her entire life.
Debbie worked with the Suicide Prevention & Intervention plus volunteered for the C.R. Women’s Centre. This angel spirit stayed with her, her whole life. Debbie we want to thank you that we had the privilege to know you for the short time we shared with you.
Prior to Debbie’s death she lost her mother Ruby Emslie and then her first husband, Bill who she dearly loved, but was taken in a tragic accident.
Her new found love, Jim Parlby, who in her own words she said “Baby Boy” I really believe in our love because we’ve built a beautiful life together; one that keeps growing more meaningful with every day we share. And I want you to know that I’ll always be there for you... I’ll always believe in us.”
She will live on in spirit with us all
