In loving memory ~

We said goodbye to Dave on May 7, 2024. Dave has left us to join his wife Eileen who passed on November 1, 2014, he can again ask her "can I have this dance for the rest of my life".

Dad's legacy will live on through his children; Corey (Shelly), Laura & Wes. As Papa to Curt, Stephanie, Megan, Jess, Marci & Becky. As Papa-on the beach to Tay, Luke, Grace, Rosie, Lily, Noah, Cora, Millie, Tyler, Max, Mila, Gwen and Jamie.

Dave was born and raised in Vancouver. He moved to Powell River in 1955 to work in the mill. In 1956 he married Eileen and took his young wife there to start and then raise a family. In December 1960 Dave joined the Powell River Fire Department, where he spent his career until his retirement in December 1991.

Dave and Eileen moved to Union Bay, February 1992. They spent their retirement involved with Union Bay Community Church, UB Community Club, UB Historical Society. Dave also served on the Board of Directors for UB Credit Union.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Dad June 8, 2024, from 1 - 4pm at the Union Bay Community Club.
