Daniel also leaves behind an extended family who have been very supportive and loving. Daniel worked for many years for Color Your World in several cities. He always loved dealing with the public and was the happiest when helping his customers. One special customer came into Daniel’s life about two years ago. Dr. Eva Hemmerch and Daniel struck up a conversation regarding Daniel’s emphysema. After several conversations Eva asked Daniel if he would share his story with school children. Last Spring Daniel and Eva visited several schools and were well received by not only the students but teachers and parents alike. The last two classes they visited were videotaped by Del’s Video. “SMOKING STINKS” is the name of the video and it is Daniel’s hope that all school children will eventually hear his story. Daniel was so proud of this video and believes that if even one child doesn’t start smoking he will have accomplished a good thing.
