Auton - Clarence Donald: Passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Monday, February 11th, 2002. He was born in Dawson Creek, BC on February 9th, 1938. Clarence was predeceased by his father James Auton, and is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Arlene, His mother Mildred Auton of Dawson Creek, sons Calvin (Dana) Auton of Innesfail, Alberta, Larry Auton of Nanaimo, BC, Daughters Yvonne (Craig) Kobewka of Canmore, Alberta, Lana (Grant) Ellard of Wembley, Alberta, Grandchildren j.j, Alysha, Carey, Derek and Tyler.
Brothers Earl Auton, and Marvin (Maureen) Auton, both of Dawson Creek, BC. Sisters Marlene Pearson and partner Keith Seabrook of Doe River, BC, Maxine Vreim of Whitehorse, Yukon, together with many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Clarence was a top-notch electrician and worked all over northern BC for many years. He was happiest when he had a guitar in his hand and a song in his heart. He was a creative and talented woodworker who loved spending time in his workshop, and when he was able , played ball, coached a women’s fastball team, and loved camping and snowmobiling.
He was very much loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
