In Loving Memory ~

Cheryl passed away peacefully in Comox on Monday, September 25th, 2023, with her loving husband Doug, by her side. Cheryl was born December 3rd, 1944, in Victoria, British Columbia to Thomas Ford and Hilda McBratney. Cheryl spent her childhood years growing up in Victoria with her parents and her brother Skip.

She married Doug September 20th, 1969. Cheryl and Doug lived in Victoria until relocating to the Comox Valley, with their two sons, Todd and Darren, in 1981. Being a mom was Cheryl's most prized accomplishment. She was a wonderful stay at home mom, taking care of her boys.

Cheryl was predeceased by her parents and sister-in-law Dorothy.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Doug, sons Todd and Darren (Alysha) and her granddaughter who she loved so much, Everly. Cheryl also leaves behind her brother Skip and niece Shelley.

Cheryl will be remembered for her amazing smile and her kind and nurturing nature. She loved to spend time with her family and watch her granddaughter dance, which reminded her of her youth.
