It is with heavy hearts that Charli's family announces her tragic death in a traffic accident on Friday, October 4, 2024, at the age of 33. Her sudden loss was unexpected, and her family is profoundly saddened. Charli was a kind, gentle, caring person with a keen interest in helping others. Her dog, Finn, was also a big part of her world. She will be dearly missed.
Charli is survived by her sister (Michelle Laslo), Mother and Stepfather (Josie and Gary Falck), close family friend (Paige Greenwood), Father (Wayne Laslo & Janis), Step Siblings: Alli (Kale, Mia), Ben & Maria, Steve & Caitlyn (Caleb, Logan, Dawson); Ryan & Judy (Hadley, Ruby), Evan & Carly (Hazel, Charlie), Colin & Jaclyn; as well as many other extended family and friends. She was predeceased by brother (Greg Laslo), Stepmother (Diane), and special Auntie (Jackie).
Charli's passion was interior design. She studied at The Interior Design Institute, North Island College, UBC Sauder School of Business and was the owner/operator of Edge Design & Painting. She previously worked at Broadstreet Properties and Island Health.
A Celebration of Life will be held In the Ballroom at Crown Isle, Courtenay, on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 2:00, followed by a gathering at the beach.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Foundry, Comox Valley or Campbell River, care of John Howard Society, or to the charity of your choice.
We would like to thank all of the First Responders: RCMP (Comox Valley & Campbell River), Fire Department, Dunn Right Towing Company, Victim Services, North Island Hospital Comox Valley, Coroner, Comox Valley Funeral Home, the recovery community and others who have and continue to assist our family.
