McCooey, Brian Desmond
1925 - 2002
Brian Desmond McCooey felled by a stroke. He managed to wait for an extra ten days to be able to say goodbye to all of his loved ones. He died peacefully, surrounded by his family. Captain Brian was a pilot in the R.C.A.F. He was an avid motorcyclist and golfer right to his final days. He raised eight blessed children (including three sets of twins) plus a large extended family. Brian exuded such a charm, that after his wife Vivien passed away, women could not keep their hands off of him. He lived his life fully and will be dearly missed. He taught us how to care, share, and live. A Celebration of his life shall be held at St. Andrews Church, 740 View Street, Victoria, B.C. Saturday, June 22nd, 11:00 A.M.
In Brian’s own words:
Flowers? - Great!
Captain Brian, We salute you!
