Bob Bailey

Bailey - Bob (Bear) passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 17, 2004 after a long battle with cancer. Bob is survived by his wife Patsy of Port Alice, children Jake Pollock, Laurel Pollock and granddaughter Alexa Pollock of Port Alice; his parents Helen and Bob Bailey, sister Sue Bailey, brother Glen Bailey of Kentville, N.S.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bob was an avid sportsman and excelled in hockey and golf as well as many years in Courtenay playing fastball. He had also coached mInor Hockey and ladies softball. He was a beloved father and inspiration to his children and granddaughter and a devoted son to his parents.

He will be remembered with much love by his family and many friends. He was a kind and loving man and will always be in our hearts.

A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, April 24th, 2004 in Port Alice at the Royal Canadian Legion at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mt. Waddington Hospice Society. North Island Funeral Services Ltd. entrusted with arrangements.
